Colorful tacos at La Pitahaya Vegana in Mexico City

Tacos aren’t reserved for Tuesdays in Mexico City. Here are three spots to visit when you’re craving tacos any and every day of the week.

La Pitahaya Vegana

Don’t be surprised by the pink tortillas at this vegan restaurant. Not only are these tacos pretty, but they taste amazing! My friend and I may or may not have visited La Pitahaya three times in four days. These colorful tacos will definitely have you coming back for more.

Gatorta

If street food isn’t your thing, I beg you to make an exception to your rule. This food stand is pretty popular, so expect to wait in line. Place your order, enjoy a few drinks at a nearby bar while your tacos are being prepared, walk back, eat, repeat. Oh, did I mention Gatorta is also vegan friendly?

Restaurante Diana

Last but not least, check out Restaurante Diana located inside The St. Regis Mexico City. I’d highly recommend their Sunday brunch. Tacos plus unlimited Veuve Clicquot…what more could you want?

If Ciudad de México is on your wanderlist, then you should definitely save room for tacos. Sadly, there were a few tacos I didn’t get to try at each of these spots. Sounds like a great reason to book a flight!

Buen Provecho,

Marissa
